Beirut, the Lebanese metropolis, birthplace of the alphabets, and a meeting point of civilizations, enjoys a special geographic location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This location distinguishes the city from a cultural, economic, commercial and academic perspective; hence, it is the chosen center for various institutions, including universities, which are of necessity the best projection of the city's distinctive historical background. Beirut is now an intriguing mix of heritage and contemporary structures, creating a striking skyline and providing a fascinating backdrop for daily activities and special events. March is the start of spring in Beirut and the warm days provide the perfect opportunity to explore and experience the city and its surrounds.

Beirut Arab University - Debbieh Campus

BAU Debbieh campus is located 33 km away from the University's main site in Beirut. It is situated in Chouf district within Mount Lebanon Governate and covers 1,353,000 m2 on a hilltop that provides a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and sea. The highest point is 404 m above sea level, while the lowest point is 154 m above sea level. The campus encompasses four faculties; Architecture - Design & Built Environment, Engineering, Sciences, and Business Administration. A number of supporting buildings also form part of the campus; the students and staff dormitories, the indoor and outdoor Gymnasium, and the Mosque. Registration and service desk will be open in the main entrance hall of the Faculty of Architecture.
