Dr. Rim Taleb is a Specialist in Family Medicine, and currently a Senior Lecturer at Beirut Arab University. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at BAU in 2010 with distinction, then completed her residency in Family Medicine at the American University of Beirut where she was also the Chief Resident for the year 2016-2017. She obtained the Arab Board of Family Medicine in 2017, and a Master of Health Professions Education from Maastricht/Suez Canal Universities in 2018. Dr. Taleb worked with UNDP as a local consultant on primary healthcare projects. She also worked with International Medical Corps as a consultant in Clinical Management of Rape. She is interested in providing primary healthcare for underprivileged population, in addition to medical education and narrative medicine. Her main research interests are medical education, preventive medicine, quality in healthcare, and care of the refugees.
